Wounded Warrior Hunt

2010 Wounded Warrior Hunt
Hunters and Pro Staff

We had a great time during the Wounded Warrior Hunt, even if the weather didn't cooperate. It was overcast and cloudy the whole weekend, and no deer were taken, but everyone had a great time. The food was great and tales were told by some as they shared previous hunts with members of the Pro Staff.

The day started early, with a show for breakfast at 5 a.m., then after eggs, sausage, and hot coffee it was off to the blinds. Some deer were seen, only they were always "in the brush," or "across the fence line," and couldn't be taken.

Seeing the look on the faces of the young and old alike was special as each returned from the hunt. Those who had seen deer were excited, while those who'd seen nothing were optimistic. Deer hunting, for anyone who loves the sport, is always a special time for all.
